Developing now in ASP.net MVC for a client and also in PHP with YII Framework (http://www.yiiframework.com/) for a hobby project for a family doctor's clinic.

LINQ, Entity Framework, WCF Data Service, etc.

This is cool stuff from MS. Learning and using those technologies with Silverlight.

Flex or Silverlight?

I'm at a dilema, learn Flex or Silverlight? I don't care about technical merits or anything else. I know .Net (C#/VB) and also Java. I really like both but I wish Microsoft would give more support for Silverlight on Linux, not only by supporting Mono and Moonlight, but with their own runtime.
